A Director of Equity Compensation will be responsible for managing the administration of the global FNZ Equity program.
Responsibilities:
Administration of Equity Plans: Oversee daily operations such as grant issuance, vesting schedules, exercise processes, and record-keeping, while ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all equity transactions.Equity Program Analytics and Reporting: Conduct regular analyses of equity programs to measure their effectiveness on retention and motivation, and prepare detailed reports on costs, participation, and ownership for senior management.Tax, Accounting, and Financial Forecasting: Collaborate with finance and tax teams to ensure proper accounting and tax reporting for equity compensation, while assisting in forecasting the fiscal impact of equity programs and managing the waterfall model.Oversee the day-to-day administration of equity plans, including grant issuance, vesting schedules, exercise processes, and record-keeping.Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of all equity transactions.Conduct regular analysis of the equity programs to assess their effectiveness and impact on employee retention and motivation.Prepare reports for senior management on equity program costs, participation rates, and equity ownership levels.Assist with monitoring the fiscal impact of equity programs and assist in forecasting the financial implications of equity grants.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to equity compensation, including SEC, IRS, and international rules.Stay updated on changes to equity compensation laws and regulations to ensure programs remain compliant.Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about equity programs.Provide training and guidance to employees on the benefits, processes, and tax implications of equity compensation.Manage relationships with external service providers, such as equity compensation software vendors, brokers, and legal advisors.Collaborate with finance and tax teams to ensure proper accounting, tax withholding, and reporting for equity compensation.Partner with executive leadership to design equity packages for senior executives and ensure alignment with the company’s compensation philosophy.Requirements:
A degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is usually required.Experience in equity compensation plan design, administration, and compliance. In-depth knowledge of relevant legal, tax, and accounting issues related to equity compensation.Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness and ensure alignment with corporate goals. Excellent communication skills to explain complex equity concepts to employees and executives.Ability to manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, legal, and senior leadership.Certifications (Optional but Highly Valued): Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) or HRCI-SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)About FNZ:
