Director of Digital Strategy

The Director of Digital Strategy is a pivotal role focused on crafting and executing comprehensive digital strategies to enhance customer acquisition and engagement. This position involves translating business needs into targeted digital experiences by segment and sub-segment, aiming to boost growth while reducing costs. The director collaborates closely with segment stakeholders, product management, technology, and marketing teams to implement and optimize digital solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales. A key responsibility is to define and utilize measurement benchmarks and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of digital programs, ensuring continuous performance improvement and alignment with business objectives.

The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of ecommerce, digital marketing, and technology trends, capable of synthesizing data into actionable strategies. The director must effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating communication and collaboration to identify commonalities and define scalable enterprise solutions. This includes developing and managing project timelines, roadmaps, and business cases, as well as advising senior stakeholders to ensure project success. About the Role 
In this opportunity as Director of Digital Strategy, you will

Develop global digital strategies in partnership with segment stakeholders, tech teams, and digital team; leverage internal data, stakeholder input, business priorities and industry best practicesCollaborate closely with product management, technology, marketing, and segment digital teams to build, launch, operate and optimize digital solutionsDefine measurement benchmarks and utilize metrics to be used in driving, defining, and prioritizing project goals and solutions as well as measuring the ongoing success and optimizationDevelop and manage project timelines, roadmaps, milestones, business cases and accountabilitiesCreate and manage relationships with key business stakeholders to develop strategy and support build and operate phases in a consulting capacityManage meetings with senior stakeholders; advise stakeholders at all levels to ensure project success including post-project review sessions for lessons learned and process improvementsFacilitate communication and collaboration across the businesses to identify commonalities in strategies and identifying and defining extensible enterprise solutions where applicableDefine, refine, and communicate the company-wide digital strategy to stakeholders of all levels

About You 
You're a fit for the role of Director of Digital Strategy if your background includes: 

10 - 12+ years of experience required, with demonstrated abilities and accomplishments in the online space in ecommerce, digital marketing, and/or technology Bachelors degree requiredExperience in audience segmentation and targetingStrong strategic thinker able to synthesize large amounts of data into digestible, practical strategies & tacticsDigital-savvy and informed on innovations, trends and technologies in the digital space; expert understanding of the best approach to implement new strategies that impact outcomes and drive digital transformationsDeep experience in creation, execution of online and mobile strategies, and growing/operating online platformData-driven decision-maker, with strong analytical skills and experience driving the creation of KPIs for senior executivesOpen-minded individual with flexible, open operating style, and a natural consultative approach that gains the trust and respect of individuals at all levelsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; detail orientation and excellent follow-throughStrong cross-functional team management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at onceAbility to present to and influence senior leadership team

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
