The Director of Digital Marketing and Ecommerce will lead our digital marketing initiatives and e-commerce strategies across our portfolio.  It will play a key role in shaping the future of Bell Partners’ digital presence, driving online engagement, and enhancing the customer journey through innovative digital and e-commerce strategies. This senior leadership role will oversee the digital marketing team, develop performance-driven digital campaigns, and leverage emerging technologies to enhance our brand visibility, lead generation, and resident acquisition processes. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Lead and manage Bell Partners’ digital marketing strategies across all channels, including paid search, display, social media, SEO, content marketing, and email marketing. 

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, ensuring strong online engagement and maximizing conversion opportunities across digital touchpoints. 

Oversee the creation of content and digital campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to ensure they resonate with target audiences and drive customer acquisition and retention. 

Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, exploring innovative tools and technologies to optimize our digital presence and marketing efforts. 

Lead the digital marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to ensure team success and professional growth. 

Develop and implement e-commerce strategies that drive online leads and increase conversion rates for apartment leasing, with a focus on user experience and seamless digital journeys. 

Manage and optimize Bell Partners’ website and online leasing platforms to ensure they are user-friendly, high-performing, and aligned with SEO best practices. 

Analyze website and e-commerce performance, leveraging analytics and A/B testing to continually optimize content, digital experiences, and campaigns for maximum results. 

Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Property Management, IT, and Sales) to ensure that digital strategies are aligned with business objectives and operational needs. 

Own the performance metrics for digital and e-commerce marketing, providing regular reports on KPIs, including lead generation, conversion rates, traffic, and ROI. 

Utilize data and analytics tools to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve digital marketing efforts. 

Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on performance data, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth. 

Work closely with other departments, including operations, brand marketing, sales, and IT, to align digital marketing efforts with overall company goals and strategies. 

Collaborate with the brand marketing team to maintain consistent messaging across all digital channels and ensure the Bell Partners’ brand is represented effectively online. 

Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring digital campaigns are executed with excellence and meet performance goals. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience in multifamily real estate is highly preferred. 

Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEM, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. 

Proven experience developing and executing e-commerce strategies that enhance customer acquisition and conversion rates. 

Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing and growing high-performing teams. 

Advanced proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to derive actionable insights from performance metrics and optimize marketing strategies. 

Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. 

Familiarity with marketing technologies, including CRM systems, CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Yardi, RealPage). 

Education and Background

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
