The Director of Creative Content is a full-time, 12-month position that reports directly to the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Communications. Responsible for helping lead brand identity and consistency efforts for Tarleton Athletics through creative video, with graphic design and photography as needed. Additional responsibilities includes overseeing the production, scheduling, and promotion of athletic video content for all digital platforms, including feature stories, game highlights, press conferences, interviews, promotional content, in-stadium video entertainment,, sponsorship inventory and more. This position, alongside another Director of Creative Content leading graphic design and publication efforts, will direct the creative track for the Tarleton Sports Internship, and support all of Tarleton State Athletics and its 17 intercollegiate programs. Must have the ability to work remotely at the request of the university in times of inclement weather or other special circumstances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a brand identity throughout Tarleton Athletics
Create and manage digital content and graphic design in a timely manner, including video and motion graphics
Plan, script, shoot, and edit videos in both short and long form
Develop and maintain inventory and archival of video content, equipment, storage devices, and peripheral equipment and supplies
Collaborate on content plan and execution across 17 NCAA Division I programs, plus Tarleton Athletics as a whole
Create Adobe Premiere templates and designs for use by others to maintain brand identity
Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations of the NCAA, conference, digital content partners, such as ESPN, FOX Sports, etc., and other intercollegiate governing bodies by coordinating website and social media effects with athletics compliance
Lead the creative track of the Tarleton Sports Internship, mentoring students with photography, videography and graphic design
Create and collaborate on content for video boards used during Tarleton Athletics home events
Perform Athletics Communications duties during competitive athletics events as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience in creative video, graphic design, print and electronic media
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of graphic design, photography, videography, web design, and social media.
Strong computer skills, particularly in video software editing and production of social media content, are required
Knowledge of audio, lighting methods, and other video-making techniques are required
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects. Illustrator a bonus
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Understanding of social media and athletic design trends
Other Requirements:
This position requires work beyond normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.
Work Location: Stephenville, TX
Work Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday
Some travel may be required.

The target base annual salary is commensurate with experience and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
