**Job Summary:**
The Director of Compensation, reporting to the SVP Total Rewards, provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all broad-based compensation programs. This role offers expert guidance on reward and recognition initiatives and oversees governance and administration through the Compensation Shared Services Team. The Director leads efforts to assess program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulations, and partners across departments to deliver innovative solutions that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance. Additionally, the role manages vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and operational reviews are met.

**_Essential Duties and Responsibilities:_**
+ Provides strategic vision and design input to the overarching Compensation,
+ Reward and Recognition strategies, implements, and manages comprehensive Career Framework, Job Architecture, Compensation Pay structures based on benchmark information, including all Cash plans.
+ Design and leads multiple projects to foster a culture of employee engagement, motivation and performance.
+ Routinely evaluate job architecture, compensation and incentive plans to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Provides vendor management oversight to multiple vendors ensuring strong performance with designed SLAs, reviewing performance of SLAs through routing operating reviews.
+ Maintain compliance with all pay policies, regulations, and reporting requirements, including overseeing audits and preparing state and federal filings.
+ Oversee compensation programs’ financial integrity by implementing robust controls and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Establish and monitor budgets. Prepare financial reports with cost and trend data to support efficient and effective delivery of benefit programs.
+ Lead in partnership with the performance management team, the annual rewards cycle from beginning to end, including plan design updates, development of change management materials and communication strategy, system updates, and employee education campaigns.
+ Create ongoing communications to build capability and transfer knowledge on how compensation plans work, who is eligible with proper documentation of filings including compliance with records retention records.
+ Support due diligence and integration of job architecture and compensation programs in mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless transitions.
+ Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work.
+ Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, and HRIS teams to optimize administration, ensure compliance, and integrate Workday functionality.
+ Maintain and monitor audit controls over all compensation programs.
+ Monitor administrative costs and pricing of compensation programs and recommend cost containment strategies, including alternate methods of administration.
+ Be a champion of innovation in the compensation/reward and recognition space. Know what best in class, progressive companies are doing and look to integrate best practices into the processes.
+ Proven success in designing and managing compensation programs aligned with organizational goals.
**_Required Skills/Abilities:_**
+ Experience in design and implementation of compensation programs across multiple geographies.
+ Proven ability to design and deliver innovative and competitive benefits and wellness programs.
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced expertise in MS Excel.
+ Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage employees at all levels and effectively convey complex information.
+ Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence key stakeholders.
+ Strong knowledge and experience with change management and communication principles.
+ Technical knowledge of benefits design, including health & wellness and retirement plans.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across various stakeholders.
+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
+ Flexible and hands-on, accustomed to rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
+ Demonstrated growth mindset, staying curious, embracing challenges, and continuously learning.
**_Experience:_**
+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
+ A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years focused on compensation program design and administration.
+ Experience implementing and administering compensation programs in Workday.
+ Expertise in multi-state benefit regulatory requirements, including all Wage and Hour regulations, Wage Notification, Pay Transparency, FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Title VII and Civil Rights Act
**_Physical Requirements:_**
+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
+ Ability to travel 10% of time; may fluctuate based on business needs
+ Majority (90%) of work is conducted indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
**_Salary Range:_**
$136,000 - $165,000
