Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring timely performance of command directed inspections/investigations/inquiries/reviews. You will participate in the development of the annual NAVSEA Inspector General (IG) Inspection Program of NAVSEA field activities. You will provide oversight and review of the effectiveness of the effectiveness and efficiency of NAVSEA programs and operations to deter and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement throughout NAVSEA enterprise. You will be responsible for supporting the NAVSEA Hotline Program for reporting and investigating allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement. You will formulate, develop, establish, and implement contract fraud risk mitigation programs. You will provide risk mitigation strategies within NAVSEA through the oversight and community outreach of the Command Inspection, Internal Review, Hotline, and Contract Fraud Risk and Mitigation programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: "leading investigative or inspection functions (e.g., gathering, processing, analyzing, preparing investigative or inspection reports, researching information, or interpreting policies) to ensure enforcement and compliance with established directives, regulations, laws, and operational standards." Education Additional Information The NH-04 broadband is equivalent to the GS-12 and GS-13 grade levels. This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Acquisition Demo (AcqDemo) Business & Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
