The role you’ll contribute:

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Director of Clinical Transplant is responsible for leading, directing and managing the clinical needs of the transplant program(s). He/she is responsible for providing clinical practice leadership in collaboration with the Medical and Surgical leadership. He/she has oversight over the Human Resource Management of their respective program(s). He/she ensures that their respective program(s) meets the standards of all federal and state accrediting and regulatory bodies to include (CMS, ACHA, UNOS/OPTN, JCAHO). He/she actively leads and assists with the execution of the QAPI plan, fiscal management of assigned cost centers, and the strategic planning process.

The Director of Clinical Transplant shall maintain a well-organized transplantation service line that fosters a cooperative and professional attitude among all employees and physicians. He/she assures quality of care is delivered for our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. In addition, he/she serves as a change agent and is responsible for implementing any changes that his/her area of responsibility is required to undergo. The Director of Clinical Transplant actively participates in outstanding customer service, including service to patients, families, physicians, and other contacts, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Working knowledge of the medical and financial aspects of the organ transplantation process

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in a health-related science field, nursing or related field or Equivalent combination of experience and education

Four (4) years' experience in the health field

Two (2) years of leadership experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

If RN, Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

Understanding of transplant regulations and operations

Understanding of multi-specialty private practice operations

Understanding of Quality Management Systems (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, etc.)

Previous leadership experience
