We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The **Director of Clinical Operations** provides leadership and ongoing administrative management for all aspects of physicians and APPs, clinical operations, quality, and ensures regulatory and HCA policies and procedures are implement for efficient, effective management for all sites as assigned. Leads and monitors quality and performance outcomes for assigned facilities in collaboration with facility administration and Regional Medical Directors. Participates in the development and implementation of compliance, training and education, policies and procedures including best practices. **What you will do in this role:** + Oversees and manages advanced practice providers in accordance with Physician Services standards and polices. + Monitors ICC provider compliance with multi-disciplinary rounds and red-yellow-green triage process. + Reports monthly findings from provider rounds via Stoplight report + Pulls, aggregates, and provides analysis for monthly quality data + Assists facility medical director to prepare facility, and division Monthly & Quarterly Operations Reports (MORs) + Collaborates with ICC Regional Medical Director and Facility Medical Director to develop well prioritize program action plans that ensures a consistent execution of the ICC Intensivist Program Model and drives clinical quality, care efficiency and clinical documentation efforts + Collaborates with hospital administration to understand and incorporate facility specific goals and growth opportunities in the area of critical care + Communicates ICC program support variances to hospital administration and collaborates in developing a plan to close the program support gap + Reviews with the Regional Medical Director and facility medical director each facility’s monthly financial report including provider and program productivity reports and collaborates with the team in identifying areas in needs of improvement of capture, provider workflow and billing education + Completes ICC program gap assessment for all existing ICC programs and collaborates with the Regional Medical Director and Facility Medical Director to review results and develop a prioritize action plan that ensures all necessary components and support are in place to yield a successful ICC program. + Updating existing order sets to the most recent ICC version + Updating the Intensivist policy or workflow + Sharing best practice with ICC clinical quality team + Meet with facility leaders on a regular basis, to review quality results, ICC relationships within facility, and opportunities for improvement. + Responsible for helping to develop, monitor and track all quality initiatives + Supports and aligns with the goals of the HCA Clinical Excellence Team, HCA division, and the facility + Serves as a key member of the leadership team for the division and the facility + Guides in the development and implementation of physician and APP development plans in collaboration with the facility medical director or regional medical director as appropriate + Delivers creative and innovative workflow and productivity solutions to the ICC leadership team + Work effectively with HCA Physician Services management and support teams + At the request of the ICC Chief Medical Office, provides clinical operations subject matter expertise in planning, budgets, new products and services, compliance and other physician issues + Serve as the integral link between HCA Physician Services and the end users to enhance the use and effectives of its products and services + Ensure that HCA ICC providers comply with Physician Services requirements, in collaboration with directors of operations/program coordinators, for mandatory training and education, policies, and procedures. + Consistently displays behavior that enhances the public image of ICC as evidenced by professionalism in interactions with peers, subordinates, customers, (patients, families, physicians, payers, vendors, etc.) + Consistently demonstrates positive interpersonal skills working with then other members of the ICC team including avoiding conversation that promote rumor generations and reporting any behavioral concerns to the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Operating Officer + Organizes and manages new provider clinical orientation and on-going training + Identifies and provide additional training based on deficits and/or new policy & procedure updates + Participant in recruitment as needed for assigned facilities + Maintain strictest confidentiality in areas of patient, employee, and physician relations + Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy, Mission, and Value Statement of ICC/ HCA **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required. + Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or Healthcare Management is required. + Appropriate experience may be considered for educational requirements. + Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice and leadership experience in critical care setting. + Minimum of 3 years leadership experience is required. + Experience in hospital management across a wide geographic area is preferred.
