Are you a dynamic sales leader ready to drive growth and lead strategic initiatives for a legendary industry brand? The ASSA ABLOY High Security Group is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in building new business, expanding market presence, and strengthening our competitive edge in the industry. This role reports directly to the High Security Group President and offers a unique opportunity to influence both the business development and marketing teams across the U.S.

 

What You'll Do:

Craft and execute growth strategies for Medeco Door Security-US and ASSA brands in the U.S. markets. Coordinate directly managed Territory Business Development Managers with ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions Sales Team Directly manage independent agencies representing the ASSA brand. Collaborate with sales leadership and field teams to ensure seamless alignment between brand strategies and sales activities. Partner with marketing and product management to ensure competitive positioning and drive new product launches. Lead efforts for trade shows, summits, and other industry events to showcase Medeco Door Security-US and ASSA’s offerings. Play a key role in overall strategic business planning. Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to improve customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).

 

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or very significant industry experience 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing, training, and developing teams. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
