POSITION OVERVIEW
This position requires a candidate with a commitment to disrupting domestic violence using a holistic lens to support people who commit harm and survivors of IPV. An ideal candidate would be organized, collaborative, clinically skilled, invested in community, gender equity, racial equity and is self-motivated. This position is a dynamic role combining a mix of visioning, administrative tasks, programing development and supervisory responsibility. Director will work closely with the Senior Director of Clinical Services in developing program structures, practice and supporting staff.
Salary: $83,000-$87,000
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Role will require 5-10 participant hours a week. Facilitate 1-2 weekly therapeutic groups of 10-12 participants. Manage all aspects of evaluation, reporting and compliance with participants. Including data tracking tools, the department’s nonprofit database platform and input of agency wide Key Performance Indicators. Provide individual counseling to 2-5 program participants and survivors of IPV as it relates to issues of trauma based on clinical assessment. Collaborate with Senior Director of Clinical Services and staff to manage in-person milieu therapy space. Administratively supervise program Counselors, and Outreach Coordinator. Counselors and Clinicians will assist with all program implementation and management protocols. Clinically supervise 2 Staff Members and 1 Clinical Intern. Help develop training seminars with Clinical Director designed to enhance and develop staff clinical skills. Function independently and ensure appropriate action is taken in crisis situations per agency procedures. Regularly assess the safety and well-being of participants. Maintain participant and victim files. Ensure that survivors are receiving best practices and holistic support. Lead team meetings collaboratively and in lieu of Senior Clinical Director Conduct trauma-centered intakes and safety assessment and collaborate with community-based resources to develop individualized risk management plans when necessary. Oversee adherence to programs internal goals and contractual adherence with External Partners. (Urban Institute & ENDGBV) Participate in group supervision, staff meetings and trainings to ensure that participants are receiving trauma-informed supportive services. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Directorof Clinical Services.SPECIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Master degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. Licensed LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC.Candidates working towards clinical hours for LCSW and LMHC are encouraged to apply.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferable. Three (3) years of experience working with diverse populations is preferred. Experience or training combined with experience in interfacing with the criminal justice system; accessing the vocational and educational service systems; and identifying the aptitudes of participants. Demonstrated success and thorough familiarity with engaging participant’s experience. Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to domestic violence and diversity issues. Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred Must possess a demonstrated ability in delivering client services including: communication and listening skills; understanding of human interaction and personality development; ability to write and record case documentation; and proven skills in group counseling. Employee must be computer-literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Must have ability to be flexible of schedule as needed – 2 evenings per week are required. Excellent written and verbal skills are required.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Role is a hybrid position based in office with two days or remote work.
