Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Accounting in Warwick, RI. Responsibilities: * Director of Accounting will prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis * Ensure financial consolidations comply with GAAP * Draft financial statement footnotes and commentary * Review and analyze financial data recorded in the general ledger * Investigate balance sheet accounts and fluctuations in income and expenses * Develop cost and expense allocation methodologies to distribute expenses across various projects, companies, and reporting entities * As a Director of Accounting, you will assess and compile monthly reports on slow-moving and excess inventory, presenting findings to management * Collaborate with external auditors to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the financial reporting process
