Position Number: 007608 Department: Office of OneIT (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Collaborate with college leadership to define the IT strategy that aligns with the overall mission and strategic goals of the College of Education. + Provide specialized IT support for faculty and researchers in the College of Education, including advanced software tools for qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and statistical modeling. + Ensure that research data storage solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with funding agency requirements and institutional policies. Minimum Experience / Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field from an accredited university, plus 2-4 years of relevant experience. + 5 years management experience with higher education experience preferred, part-time or full-time employees. + Proven record of managing budgets and directing and motivating staff to deliver client-oriented services. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: + Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology. + 5 years experience in Tier 2/Tier 3 customer support within Information Technology (infrastructure, operations, or development). + 5-7 years experience working within Information Technology, preferably in an academic setting. + P-12 and/or higher education experience. + Management experience in a technical discipline. + Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
