IT Director for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand key IT and Business priorities, strategic and tactical initiatives to identify and develop effective and timely analytic solutions.
Collaborate with IT Service Owners and Business Partners to understand metrics that matter and underlying data sources.
Facilitate operational excellence by leveraging analytics and AIOps to shift from reactive to proactive.
Develop dashboards and visualizations that improves service/business intelligence, drives actionable insights the leads to data-drive decisions.
Initiate and streamline workflows and alerting that improves service availability.
Proactively mine data to identify trends and patterns, generate insights and discover hidden relationships.
Research and implement cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence to make data analysis more efficient.
Build and grow a data-driven culture that uses data and analytics to make decisions and take actions.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Job Site: Charlotte, NC
40 hours/week
Eligible for Employee Referral Program: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of progressive experience operating, managing or monitoring IT infrastructure and services. Must possess five (5) years of experience in the following: managing and visualizing data to drive operational efficiencies; building dashboards that simplifies data so that it is easy understand and comprehend; developing analytical visualization and presenting orally to IT leadership; delivering on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision; data analytical skills. Must possess Splunk Expertise, including certifications as a Splunk Certified Architect and Splunk Certified Enterprise Security admin. Up to 5% travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
