Responsibilities Job Summary This position provides direction and leadership for the Interventional Labs (Cath Lab, and oversight of Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics program. In collaboration with the other members of the leadership team, develops and implements strategic plans, practices, program development, contract negotiations and overall success of the Interventional Lab and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics program. Serves as the program leader as it relates to daily operations, personnel supervision, physician relationships, driving quality initiatives and financial performance. Provides leadership in the development and enhancement of the Interventional Lab and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics programs, services, and delivery systems across the continuum of care, which includes facilitating change. Implements and is responsible for meeting key strategies, goals and initiatives regarding service line financial health, cost-control, referral volumes, quality, and physician alignment to enhance the Interventional Lab, and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics performance. Does so in support of system-wide strategic initiatives. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with physicians to help achieve collaborative operational, strategic and quality initiatives. Creates an environment supportive of innovation. Focus is on patient satisfaction, providing the highest level of care and customer service possible. Maximizes the efficient use of resources. Encourages employee engagement, creativity, process improvement and evidence-based solutions. Develops evaluation methods and metrics to measure results. Directs, supervises, and motivates personnel assigned to the service line. Plans, establishes, and revises work assignments. Interviews, selects, hires, and evaluates personnel. Initiates changes in classification, salary action, promotion, demotion, transfer, and termination. Coaches and develops staff, creating a culture of accountability within the service line. Settles employee problems and administers appropriate disciplinary action. Collaborates successfully with internal departments and key external partners to improve both the quality of care as well as patient and physician satisfaction within the Interventional Lab, and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics departments. Facilitates the development of centers of excellence and other program certifications, accreditations and distinctions for the Interventional Lab, and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics program, which foster the most effective and efficient delivery of high-quality patient care. Ensures the Interventional Lab, and Non-Invasive Cardio Diagnostics program’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation bodies. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Experience 2 years In a management/supervisory position in healthcare and/or other industries Required Licenses and Certifications Nursing\RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure Required
