IT contributes to areas such as technical support, system administration, networking, database management, software development, and project management. **Job Summary:** The Director - Infrastructure is responsible for building and managing technical teams and third-party service providers, overseeing company data centers and networks, and ensuring infrastructure security. This role includes developing and managing IT policies, maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions, leading infrastructure projects, and controlling the budget to meet strategic IT and enterprise objectives. **Location:** Cedar Rapids, IA **Compensation:** *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan (AIP) with a target payout of 20% of the annual base salary. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Build and manage technical teams and third-party service providers + Manage all company data centers and IT equipment spaces, including consolidation and colocations + Manage company voice and data networks and equipment + Direct IT help + Collaborate with the IT security officer and team on the information security program and address infrastructure vulnerabilities and gaps, including systems patching, expeditiously + Develop and maintain an infrastructure technology roadmap + Develop appropriate backup and disaster recovery solutions, plans, and documentation + Perform infrastructure tests and audits to verify capabilities and comply with standards + Develop and manage IT policies, practices, and processes + Manage infrastructure projects from requirements analysis through solution design, implementation, documentation, testing, and support + Maintain detailed and accurate IT asset inventory, including software licenses, warranty information, and support contracts + Maintain network and data center design and configuration documentation + Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget to ensure alignment with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise, staying within plan + Establish a change management process to manage changes to infrastructure configurations + Perform other duties as assigned + Regular and reliable attendance **Requirements:** + High school diploma or GED + Bachelor’s degree in computer science Work locations will be determined during the hiring process based on business needs and the position’s essential functions.
