Director-High Jewelry and Client Relations

**Position Overview:**
The Director of High Jewelry and Client Relations is responsible for driving in-region strategy and execution of client/high jewelry events, with an emphasis on new and existing client activations and bespoke experiences. He/she will lead the tactical approach in developing the HJ business performance as well as the development of a community of experts in Japan
Through extensive cross-functional partnership, he/she will focus on executing the overall client relations strategy in service of achieving Tiffany’s key results. He/she will also be responsible for partnering with the Regional Sales Directors to set Gaisho business improvement strategy and to provide necessary support including event planning, collateral and gifting development.
**Key Accountabilities:**
+ Responsible for High Jewelry sales & business development by developing and executing effecting outreach for HNW clients
+ Developing a community of High Jewelry Experts
+ Partner with Merchandising and HJ team to meet and exceed clients’ needs and expectations as it related to High Jewelry assortment
+ Overseeing Client Relations from end to end (identifying clients, developing and maintaining relationship before, during, and after the experience)
+ Identifying a strategy to drive long term client relationships through exceptional experiences at the venue, while leveraging emotional engagement to foster brand loyalty
+ Develop a unique hospitality program and propose innovative ideas to elevate the client experience.
+ Partner with retail leaders to develop the selling capabilities of the High Jewelry Sales across the country in support of overall Client Relations strategy
+ Work in partnership with the Global Client Relations & High Jewelry team for global events and to build a local HJ strategy for Japan, incorporating local etiquette, cultural nuance and specialized needs.
+ Oversee local budget and calendar of actions/events
**Qualifications:**
+ a proven track record for developing authentic long-lasting relationships with clients.
+ Experience in working cross functionally with a wide range of stakeholders and working in a multi category, high-end luxury brand is highly desired
+ Great communications skills both in Japanese and English
+ A skilled leader in motivating and inspiring a diverse team's performance and be able to implement innovative and personalized client centric solutions.
