BRP is searching for a Director of Global Security who can handle a broad range of security functions. This person would need to have strong leadership skills and experience overseeing comprehensive security operations that span People Security, Physical Security, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Investigations.

\n

This role involves executing security protocols and policies across BRP, which would include plants, warehouses, shipping sites, offices, testing centers, and supply chain. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in navigating different legal, regulatory, and industry standards specific to where BRP operates.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

\n\nManage the centralization and integration of worldwide security operations under Global Security.\nPursue the security risk assessment of Corporate, region/sites, projects, and existing security programs and policies to establish an appropriate roadmap, including required investments,\nSet Global Security strategy, objectives, and governance. Track and monitor key performance indicators.\nLead global teams and projects and communicate at all levels of the organization\nIdentify global savings opportunities and leverage synergies within existing groups.\nLead Global Security operations and manage budget. \nLead the BRP Emergency Response and Incident & Crisis Management Process and provide support and training to Corporate and operations.\nEnsure an appropriate level of security intel.\nEnsure an international network for Security resources. \nContinuous education on industry best practices.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with government agencies.\nInfluence organization security culture towards a proactive approach.\nEnsure Global Security alignment and clear objectives.\nIdentify priorities and mitigation strategies to reduce BRP risk.\n\n

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

\n

Required:

\n\nBachelor’s degree in related areas such as Criminology, Security, Risk Management, H&S or other related area\nMore than 15 years’ experience with demonstrated capacity to develop global programs, create and lead a global structure\nPrevious corporate international/national security leadership experience and extensive fieldwork experience\nRelevant association membership such as ASIS International and relevant certification. i.e., CPP certification, Corporate Information security management (CISM) certification, Safety management certification, member of the International Security Managers Association (ISMA) membership, Security Executive council membership (Tier 1), OSAC, etc.\nAbility to work confidently, persuasively, and gain the senior management's respect and trust\nAn inspiring leader but also a team player in turbulent situations \nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nExcellent decision-making qualities and strong integrity \nProven ability to implement programs across multiple levels of organization\nAbility to stay focused by constantly reassessing priorities and managing expectations within the business\nFlexibility and agility to adapt and design solutions\n\n

Preferred:

\n\nPrior experience in law enforcement, military, government security/intelligence, or corporate security \nExperience in the centralization of a worldwide security operation, involving change management \nKnowledge of Mexico security risk \nBilingual in Spanish\nGraduate Degree or attendance in a recognized leadership program\n\n
