As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a team of professionals to design, deploy, optimize and operate enterprise networks serving clients in a wide array of industries, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, transportation and telecommunications.  Core services include\: network design, software development/maintenance, network deployment, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation.

Job Description

This Director position requires a technical background, business acumen and people-management skills. This position directs employees in multiple locations providing a broad range of IT services supporting netowrk users.   The position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills to direct the work, inform the client and manage the client’s expectations.  The position also requires strong technical and analytic reasoning skills to support critical and timely decision making and problem resolution.  Strong customer service orientation is a must.  This position includes the responsibility of new talent evaluation and hiring.  This is a remote position and can sit in any US city.

Typical duties include\:

 

·    Ensures compliance with contract requirements for IT/Network services

·    Works closely with client to ensure expectations are understood and met

·    Oversees service delivery, monitors contract performance, ensures standards are meet, and takes corrective actions as necessary

·    Manages staff, including hiring, training, assignments, and evaluations

·    Ensures workforce complies with client and company standards, policies and all labor laws.  Includes taking administrative corrective and discipline actions

·    Produces contract documentation to include the Monthly Status Report

·    Oversee travel and IT/Network level finances

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline (STEM), or a major field of study which provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex projects. Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Certification Requirements (of note)\:

PMI PMP  Project   ITIL Foundations

Experience Requirements\:                        

At least 5 years of operations and support experience, AND At least 3 years in managerial leadership role.

Must be able to work for any US Employer without current or future visa sponsorship.

Essential Functions\: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds.  Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same.
