We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Corporate Finance to join our dynamic team at Aimbridge Hospitality. The Director of Corporate Finance will work closely with department leadership in support of a variety of financial and strategic processes, including: (i) monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial analyses; (ii) long-range financial planning and modeling; (iii) internal and external corporate reporting; and (iv) other ad hoc strategic and financial analyses. The Director of Corporate Finance will report to the VP of Strategic Finance and will serve as a key financial liaison to ensure alignment on financial initiatives across the Company. It is expected that the Director of Corporate Finance be able to work on-site at the Company’s Plano, TX headquarters daily.
ResponsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferredA minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, or related field with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in the hospitality sectorExtensive experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgetingExperience with corporate reporting to lenders, investors, boards of directors, and executivesStrong proficiency in financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel (advanced), and financial reporting systemsAbility to work with large data sets, analyze financial performance, and create detailed reports for investors, boards, and executive teamsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholdersHigh attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environmentExperience managing teams and working cross-functionally with various business departments
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly Forecasting, Budgeting, and Financial Analyses
Work with other leaders in Corporate Finance to oversee the preparation, review, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, including variances to actual performanceLead the revenue forecasting process, while ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s financial goalsCollaborate with department leadership to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysesProvide in-depth analysis and insights on financial performance and trends, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, and other strategic initiativesAssist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget planning documentsLong-Range Financial Planning and Modeling
Develop, maintain, and enhance long-range financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and forecastingPartner with cross-functional teams to integrate financial forecasts into the long-range modelProvide in-depth analysis and insights on financial performance versus long-range forecastsAssist in the preparation of long-term financial planning documentsCorporate Reporting
Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards for investors, the board of directors, executive leadership, and key stakeholders, ensuring that financial information is clear, concise, and actionableSupport the VP of Strategic Finance in the creation of strategic presentations for senior leadership, including financial performance summaries and forward-looking projectionsRespond to requests from senior executives, investors and the Board related to financial performance and outlookPrepare quarterly lender reports, covenant calculations, and certificates in accordance with the terms of the credit agreementConstantly monitor the company’s financial state and debt covenants to ensure complianceWork closely with corporate accounting, treasury, development, executives, and other departments to ensure all critical events are identified and recorded accurately in the GLLeadership and Collaboration
Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and the corporate finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environmentWork closely with senior executives, including the Chief Financial Officer, to drive financial strategy, performance, and analysesServe as a key financial liaison to ensure alignment on financial initiatives across the CompanyParticipate in weekly meetings and provide recommendations to improve processes and quality of information presentedAd-Hoc Financial Support
