Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Corporate Development professional, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Director to join our publicly-listed company as a key member of our strategy and business development leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading business segment strategy and business development efforts, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures transaction execution. You will report directly to the Executive Vice President for Strategy and Business Development and will have associate and analyst level individuals reporting to you. Your ultimate goal will be to drive growth, profitability and cashflow for our company while maintaining our position as a leader in our industry.

What You Will Be Doing 

Demonstrated leadership skills including strategic level thinking, member motivation / encouragement / training, process excellence, aligning / developing key stakeholders, incl. the CEO and Business Segment Presidents. Able to work with Corporate and Business Segment leaders to build focused business strategies that increase growth, profitability, and value for shareholders.Build and maintain relationships with peers and senior leaders in the company to ensure alignment and support for key initiatives.Lead the business development team in identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture opportunities that will drive growth and profitability.Capable of developing, leading, and securing /closing important M&A transactions by aligning strategy / financials / tactics / execution / integration in a single connected process.Deep experience in understanding sale and purchase agreements for M&A purposes, including the relevant aspects of the legal contracting and regulatory processes.

What We Are Looking For 

10+ years of demonstrated experience leading business segment strategy development, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration or related field required.Master of Business Administration (MBA) required .
