THE JOB:
The Director of Casino Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to attract, evaluate, and retain high-end casino guests. This role requires a strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with both premium clientele and the Casino Marketing Team. The Director ensures all marketing efforts align with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures while driving revenue growth and enhancing the overall guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Set the strategic direction and drive results for Casino Marketing VIP Customer Services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Partner with Marketing, Advertising, and Special Events Centers of Excellence to develop and execute VIP marketing initiatives.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, leadership development, recognition, and employee engagement.
Provide leadership and oversight to the Customer Development Team through regular recognition, coaching, and feedback to enhance performance.
Review and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities that maximize profitability, reduce costs, increase operational efficiencies, and elevate the guest experience.
Respond to guest correspondence and concerns professionally and promptly to ensure positive resolutions and superior customer satisfaction.
Take a proactive management approach, identifying challenges and implementing solutions to enhance departmental effectiveness.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures that optimize efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards to deliver an exceptional resort experience.
Design and implement technical and service-driven training programs to elevate departmental expertise and service excellence.
Identify and remove roadblocks, resolve issues, and enhance both employee and guest experiences through strategic problem-solving.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 4+ years of relevant marketing management experience, preferably in the casino industry.
Proven ability to lead and drive team performance, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills with a keen attention to detail and quality.
Expertise in customer development, building and maintaining relationships with high-end casino guests.
Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to develop targeted marketing strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Advertising, and Special Events teams.
A proactive problem-solver who can identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
