This individual will provide the vision and guidance to those in the reporting structure. The System Director - Cardiopulmonary will collaborate with system and local leadership to integrate the professions’ concepts, standardize practices/policy/procedure and be economically responsible as it regards to staffing practices and equipment used. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION** _For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._ **Minimum Required:** Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy and Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Pulmonary Science, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration. **Preferred/Optional:** Master of Healthcare Administration or Masters of Business Administration. **EXPERIENCE** **Minimum Required:** Five years’ experience as a registered respiratory therapist and three years’ experience of leadership. **Preferred/Optional:** Experience with change management or project management in addition to the leadership experience. **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** _The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._ **Minimum Required:** Must hold a WI Respiratory Therapy license and be credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within (3) three months of hire. **Preferred/Optional:** ACLS, NRP and PALS. This position has responsibility across the system.
