What is the opportunity?
The Director of US IT Risk Identification leads risk identification, develops and implements frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate threats. Partner with IT Business Partners to monitor and assess emerging risks, ensuring the security and resilience our US Technology landscape.
What will you do ?
Develop and oversee US Technology IT risk management strategy, ensuring alignment with our Enterprise Risk Management frameworkMonitor emerging threats and trends within the technology landscape, including but not limited to, cyber, operational and third-party risksProvide ongoing assessment of IT risk strategies, frameworks and processes to ensure continued alignment with emerging trends and regulatory expectationsDefine, implement and monitor risk assessment methodologies and monitoring tools to identify technology related risksConduct regular risk assessments and gap analysis to identify potential weaknesses in IT security controls and recommend appropriate remediation strategiesCollaborate with Security Operations teams to integrate risk identification findings into incident response and threat intelligence processesEstablish key metrics and reporting capabilities to effectively evaluate IT-related risks dependent on RBCs overall environmentPartner and build strong relationships with IT business partners to assist, educate and proactively identify risks associated with IT activitiesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must Haves
Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management with a strong focus on IT risk identification and assessmentStrong understanding of US Regulatory environment including reporting requirements. Prior or current financial services experience requiredLead development and implementation of comprehensive risk identification frameworks and methodologies tailored to our US technology landscapeProvide strategic guidance and expertise on risk identification practices and industry trendsProactively identify and assess emerging technology risks through continuous monitoring and analysis of internal/external threatsStrong understanding of technology infrastructure, service delivery, cyber security, risk and change management processesStrong knowledge of IT Risk management frameworks and methodologies as well as tools and techniques for identifying risksExperience in IT risk management, cyber security, or related rolesAbility to establish strategic approach for long term sustainable solutionsAbility to influence a diverse group of stakeholders and demonstrate strong collaboration skills across the organizationStrong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindsetBachelor’s degree in CompSci, Finance or related degree. Master’s degree preferredNice-to-have
