Position Purpose: The Manager Mexico Logistics will lead the Mexico sales efforts for all cross-border business. This role is crucial in expanding our partnership for cross-border traffic and building our presence through LTL, TL, warehouse, consolidation, customs clearance, and more. The manager will be responsible for driving sales, developing logistics solutions, and enhancing customer engagement in the Mexican market.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales Coordination: Coordinate individual sales calls in the United States and Mexico, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building with clients.
National Account Activity: Drive National Account activity through joint sales calls where appropriate, collaborating with key stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities.
Warehouse and Distribution Development: Work with Linkex (3PL) and Operations to develop warehouse, consolidation, and distribution opportunities, optimizinglogistics processes.
Sales Enablement: Partner with sales enablement to assist in the development of Mexico education for sales and operations teams, ensuring they are well-equipped with market knowledge.
Product Enhancement: Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and customer service to enhance product offerings to customers, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
Cross-Border Opportunities: Work with cross-border specialists and the gateway operations team to develop new opportunities, leveragingexpertise to expand market reach.
Revenue Growth: Manage and develop sales and revenue activities for terminals within the geographical area, driving revenue growth to exceed financial objectives and performance metrics.
Employee Development: Provide continuous coaching and development of new and existing direct reports, ensuring a high-performing team.
Market Opportunities: Forecast and anticipate client and market opportunities, responding appropriately to maximize sales.
Strategic Relationships: Secure strategic level relationships with business partners, collaborating with cross-functional teams on forecasts, account activities, and territory strategies.
Education/Experience:
Minimum Training and Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience Required:3 years in a relevant field.
Preferred Job Experience: 5 years industry experience
Preferred Job Skills and/or Certifications: Transportation and logistics management, operations background, and a successful sales history in LTL, TL, or Custom Solutions.
