Director, Warehouse Enterprise Operations

**Job Summary**
The Director Warehouse is responsible for leading enterprise-wide material inventory management. This includes emergency stock portfolio's, storage strategy and logistics. Additionally, the role oversees all gas meter operations, testing and order placement for the enterprise. This role ensures safe practices in all warehouse facilities, sets direction and tone for department leadership team, optimizes warehouse space, aligns inventory with business strategy, supports vendor selection & contracts, standardizes processes & procedures across the footprint, oversees the financial & budget planning for the department and drives efficiencies. The Director Warehouse is also accountable for leading efforts aimed at improving service, quality and processes for internal business customers, as well as, establish best practices and benchmark warehouse operations against other peer utilities. There is an expectation of strong collaboration with field operations leadership across the enterprise.
**Essential Functions**
+ Establishes and directs warehouse stocking program using standardized practices.
+ Leads team to facilitate selection and management of vendors.
+ Leads diverse team of qualified individuals with authority to hire, terminate, promote, demote, coach, develop and performance manage including professional development of the Warehouse and Meter Shop management teams.
+ Manages and deploy warehouse management system (WMS) across multiple facilities
+ Standardizes procedures across all facilities
+ Manage the company’s overall shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and warehouse maintenance functions
+ Strategically manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
+ Ensures accurate inventory data across all systems
+ Interface with other departments to increase efficiencies and foster teamwork
**Required Qualifications For Position**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in experience
+ 7-9 years Operational leadership & team management experience in supply chain management, distribution, transportation, logistics, retail operations, and/or warehouse operations experience,
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
+ Has a strong general business experience with P&L responsibility
+ Is a detail-oriented problem solver with a proven track record of optimizing operations processes Medium
+ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills High
+ A concern for precision and thoroughness High
+ A proven track record of being an effective leader in a fast-paced, high-volume organization High
+ Deep understanding of standard technical systems including WMS and ERP systems Medium

**Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position**
+ Experience managing sub-contracted logistics service providers including freight forwarders
+ Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety

$150,900.00 - $226,300.00
