What You Will Do 

Work with Harman internal teams both in global and China locally, as well as 3rd party consultants to develop specific strategy for China market growth. Understand Market trends, competitor moves to explore business opportunities and to define the strategy on where to play and how to win for Harman China business.Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.Continuously refine and adapt the China growth strategy based on market dynamics and business needs.Understand Harman product and technology portfolios to identify gaps for fitting China market and to define product needs for China market together with divisional and SBU product management team. Form product roadmap for China market.Accelerate new and attractive concepts into the sales-ready product portfolio by creating compelling and differentiated product propositions.Think beyond the technology itself and understand key business drivers that ensure technology investment will provide substantial value or improvements to customers in China.Leverage technologies within and outside of HARMAN to develop lasting and winning relationships to benefit the unique nature of the diverse HARMAN business.Identify enablers for executing developed China growth strategy and collaborate with cross-function teams with support from senior executives to execute China strategy.Work across organizational boundaries to drive a unified and best in class approach to execute developed China growth strategy on driving new product definition, realization and to deliver business growth with sales and business teams.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Automotive relevant experience on in-cabin electronics for example Infotainment, Digital Cockpit or ADAS etc are required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management or strategy development and execution, with a strong focus on market expansion and business growth.Proven track record of defining and successfully launching strategies and products in China. Experience working in a matrix, global organization by collaborating with key stakeholders. Results and detail-oriented, hold him/herself and others accountable for commitments.Effective C-Level communication skills.

What is Nice to Have

Experience working with the Automotive OEMs.Strong customer orientation through credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative, and productive partner.
