Job Description

The Director of Strategic Projects and Marketing Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence as well as planning and executing strategic projects within the marketing department of the endoscopy business unit.  This individual will be responsible for optimizing marketing processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring that defined strategic projects and initiatives align with our business objectives and drive the desired impact while collaborating with various levels of leadership in marketing, sales, sales training, and shared services.  The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic thinking, operational acumen, project management and leadership skills to support the growth and efficiency of our marketing efforts. 

Job Duties Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and pull through of high-impact strategic marketing projects and key strategic meetings that align with the company’s goals and market positioning.  Operations Management:  Oversee select marketing operations and processes, to increase efficiency and scale the marketing efforts effectively.  Performance Analytics:  Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing department, providing insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and resource allocation. Team Collaboration:  Work closely with other marketing leaders, sales, product development, shared services and customer service teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and synergy in all marketing initiatives.  Process Improvement:  Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.  Stakeholder Management:  Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including vendors, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs and projects.  Change Management:  Lead change management efforts related to marketing operations, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new practices, tools, or strategies. Job Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.  Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and/or operations, with at least 4 years in a marketing operations or similar strategic role within the healthcare or medical device industry. Proven track record of managing marketing operations, implementing strategic marketing projects, and improving processes.  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.  Excellent organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility to manage shifting priorities and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines Ability to provide succinct, useful strategic insights to guide business decisions based on detailed data and business impact analyses Ability to manage and maintain internal/external relationships, and manage through influence Tangible experience leading projects and achieving results through cross-functional collaborations within a matrixed organization
