The Total Offering Price Evaluation Team (TOPE) sits within IQVIA’s Strategic Pricing and Partnerships Team, in the Research & Development Solutions organization (R&DS). The TOPE Team supports the development of effective go-to-market pricing and commercialization strategies for IQVIAs’ services and products by completing full assessments of each offering to assess their pricing, value propositions, go-to-market strategies, costs and pricing structures. The team initially focused on the R&DS Technology Orchestrated Clinical Trials products however the value these assessments have bought to the business has meant that other offerings and services throughout the IQVIA Enterprise, are looking to utilize the TOPE teams capabilities.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Execute and lead product and service offering assessments for new and existing IQVIA products and service offeringsCollaborate with team leadership to refine the assessment framework through continuous improvements and constant feedbackLead and support data gathering and synthesizing efforts to inform cost builds through partnerships with Finance and Business Line leadershipSupport and lead market data collection and analysis to inform market positioning, pricing options, competitive packaging, and positioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand, refine, and align with go-to-market strategies from a pricing perspectiveConduct financial and operational analyses using Microsoft Excel or similar tools to identify trends and uncover insights that will support data driven decision-makingDevelop a variety of business deliverables including analysis findings, pricing strategy and construct recommendations, gaps/opportunities assessments, etc.Develop and follow-up on action plans to implement recommendations and monitor adoption and deployment progressSupport and lead periodic reviews of changes to assess for course corrections and opportunities for maturing the strategyCoach and train staff on new capabilities and approaches to our pricing methodologiesFully support the management team to ensure all team goals and objectives are metRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Relevant experience in critical thinking, data gathering, and analysis related to pricing, new offering design, and/or go-to-market strategiesAbility to step back to see the broader context, root causes, and business challenges within the product lineComfortable designing and executing analysis of data (via Microsoft Excel or other) to support recommendationsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including model development, pivot tables, and advanced formulas and chartingExcellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional business settingAdvanced knowledge communicating via slides (e.g., PowerPoint)Able to work effectively as an individual as well as in a team within a fast-paced, high-growth environmentAbility to work simultaneously on multiple priorities, projects, and tasksAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the immediate team and cross-functional colleaguesAbility and comfort applying project management techniques to execute and deliver the assessments and maintain accountability for self and monitor accountability for others’ contributions to your workHave a vision or willingness to create a vision for your career pathRequired Education and Experience:

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $128,200.00 - $238,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
