Director, Strategic Partnerships & Development

This position is located at Rubrik HQ in Palo Alto, CA.

What you'll be doing:

Develop strategic partnership framework and iterate on a business development plan that contributes in a meaningful way to the Rubrik’s growth targets Identify potential partners that align with the plan and product roadmap to execute new strategic partnerships Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering leaders to define priorities and roadmaps and execute on new initiatives with strategic partners Lead business model and synergies development with Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization (Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to negotiate, launch, and activate partnerships Coordinate with GTM Alliances team to drive partner opportunity pipeline, KPIs and coordination with sales leaders and teams Work with VP of Business and Corporate Development & GTM Initiatives as well as leadership team to manage executive-level contacts with key partners, including executive relationship mapping, QBRs, and key stakeholder management

Experience you'll need:

Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of hi-tech experience in business development and alliances Demonstrated experience working on strategic transactions, channel arrangements, and negotiations with large technology companies Demonstrated ability to bring impactful strategic deals to life from conception to execution Proven ability to act as both an influential leader and hands-on practitioner in the planning and execution of our global strategic partner ecosystem Skilled in company-wide collaboration with leadership and internal stakeholders, the analysis and evaluation of potential business value, partnership cadences, meeting orchestration and leadership, and short- and long-term partner relationship management Experience working in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and other requisite internal teams in the development, review, and negotiation of complex contracts and familiarity with standard deal structures Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills; ability to portray complex concepts to diverse audiences Must possess knowledge of datacenter and security-related markets and ecosystems. Technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment, self-starter and operate in highly matrixed organization
