The Work You Will Do:


As the Director of Professional Services – LATAM, you will lead the region’s technical consulting and solutions consulting teams, driving successful client implementations and post-sales engagements. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and other regional Professional Services leaders to deliver exceptional client outcomes while aligning with Sovos’ global standards for technical service delivery. The ideal candidate will reside in the United States (preferably South Florida).

This role will focus on maintaining consistent operational excellence across LATAM while fostering a customer-centric culture that ensures responsiveness, innovation, and satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving revenue and margin delivery by optimizing resource utilization, ensuring profitability, and delivering high-quality services within budget constraints.

Lead, manage, and grow the LATAM Professional Services team, including technical consultants and solutions consultants. Drive successful implementation of Sovos solutions by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Work with Global Project Management Team to ensure consistency in delivery, streamlining processes, and implementing automation when appropriate. Own the financial performance of the LATAM Professional Services team, ensuring the delivery of revenue, profit margin, and cost-effective services. Act as a strategic advisor for LATAM Professional Services Leadership team, providing guidance on challenges unique to the LATAM market. Partnering with the other regional and global Professional Services Leaders Implement and adapt global service delivery methodologies to meet regional needs while maintaining consistency with Sovos standards. Monitor team performance and establish metrics to assess customer satisfaction, project health, and regional team efficiency. Collaborate with global counterparts to share best practices, improve cross-regional alignment, and foster innovation in service delivery. Cultivate a formidable team culture by coaching, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of LATAM team members.

 

What We Need from You:

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred). 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, including 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably in the LATAM market. Experienced with Software solution implementations Experience designing and deploying Robotics Process Automation (RPA) for process improvement  Proficiency with Sales Force and Cloud Coach. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required; Portuguese proficiency is a plus. Proven experience managing technical and solutions consulting teams with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Ability to streamline repeatable processes and accelerate delivery of purchased solutions. Strong financial acumen, with a proven ability to drive revenue and margin delivery, optimize resource utilization, and manage P&L for the region. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions and regions to deliver integrated client solutions. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and innovation. Experience managing in a fast-paced, dynamic, and customer-focused environment. Ability to travel as needed across the LATAM region to support clients and teams.
