SSP America is seeking a Director of Payroll Administration to lead our payroll operations and HR helpdesk teams, ensuring seamless payroll processing, compliance, and world-class employee support.

What You’ll Do:
Lead & Optimize payroll administration and HR helpdesk operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Oversee Payroll Processing & Compliance – Manage complex payroll structures, union wage administration, and large-scale data reporting. Ensure Compliance – Maintain deep knowledge of employment and labor laws (experience with union payroll is a plus but not required). Drive Process Improvement – Leverage data analytics to enhance payroll accuracy and compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to optimize payroll operations. Support Multi-National Operations – Manage payroll compliance for both US and Canadian teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in payroll administration, HR helpdesk management, and large-scale data processing. High attention to detail with a strong background in compliance, employment laws, and wage administration. Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) required in human resource management, business administration, finance, accounting, or another related field. Global or Multi-National Experience Preferred – Experience working in a large enterprise or global payroll environment. Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in HRIS, payroll analytics, and large-scale ticketing systems. Exceptional leadership and project management skills to drive innovation and efficiency.
