Your Role
The Director of Oncology Partnerships at EMD Serono will join the Strategic Engagement and Partnerships (STEP) team to strengthen our organizational reputation by building strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in distinguishing EMD Serono within the competitive pharmaceutical landscape and driving growth through innovative, above-brand engagement with health care providers in Oncology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Alliance DevelopmentIdentify and evaluate oncology partnership opportunities Develop actionable plans to support customer-centric key account strategies, in partnership with internal stakeholdersFurther build/develop the TAPP (The Advanced Practitioner Project) initiative in oncology, managing unbranded resources for Advanced Practice Providers and PharmDsExplore expansion opportunities in emerging marketsCross-functional CollaborationFacilitate coordination among internal teams to promote awareness of STEP initiativesEnsure alignment of STEP initiatives across various organizational work streamsEvent Management and Community EngagementExecute above-brand events at key oncology meetings and congressesImplement innovative engagement strategies for the oncology community based on therapeutic area needsWho You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree with 8+ years of experience, MS with 6+ years, or PhD/PharmD with 5+ yearsPreferred Qualifications:
3 or more years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, focusing on oncologyProven experience in developing strategic partnerships in healthcareStrong understanding of the oncology landscape and emerging trendsExcellent project management and communication skillsSkills & Competencies
Ability to create action plans with clear goals in ambiguous environmentsStrong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skillsProven results-oriented approach with innovative business development strategiesLeadership ability in matrix and co-promote environmentsWillingness to travel up to 40% domesticallyProficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
Pay range for this position: $172,400 - $258,600
Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.
