Director, MSO Solutions

Position Summary

The Sr. Director, MSO Solutions position will be responsible for managing the success of the customer relationship with an assigned set of physician practices in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health.

Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health Pharmaceutical Distribution and other business units.

Territory: Nationwide remote with travel 25-50%

This position reports to the Vice President, Physician Office

Responsibilities

Management of new and existing client relationships with the goal of improving our relationships and driving profitability through creating value added programsExpansion of account relationships with internal and external business partnersCollaborate with deal modeling, finance, and proposal team to develop proposals and qualify new business and give feedback/collect data on our stance in the marketCollaborate with the sales team as the subject matter expert on MSO offerings, identifying optimal solutions based on customer needs and coordinating the appropriate resources to deliver them effectivelyCorporate account support with responsibility to identify and resolve complex issues in alignment with Cardinal Health’s strategic priorities Development of performance metrics, reporting and monitoringIn depth understanding of MSO landscape and ability to provide reliable competitive intelligence to appropriate stakeholdersUtilize Cardinal Health’s CRM to maintain accurate records, track business, monitor sales leads and enact retention and expansion strategies in partnership with direct sales teamProfessionally represent Cardinal Health at industry association and tradeshow eventsOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or commiserate experience preferredMinimum 10 years of healthcare sales (technology, services, complex offerings) and account/relationship management experience preferred; clinic and or physician office sales experience strongly preferredMust have an understanding of the financial complexities of the physician office space and to be able to interpret financialsThorough understanding of the wholesale distribution industryExcellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skillsExecutive presence and solid presentation and communication capabilitiesProven ability to design win-win strategies for the company and the client baseSelf-starter; able to determine, independently, solutions that ensure business objectives are achieved within acceptable tolerancesAbility to travel 25-50% within the territory; work from home when not traveling

Anticipated salary range: $149,100 – $240,870
