ROLE SUMMARY :Join Anheuser-Busch’s internal Wholesaler Mergers & Acquisitions and strategy team that helps to shape the future of beverage distribution in the US.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and review sophisticated financial analyses of ownership changes within the A-B wholesaler networkReview wholesaler acquisition and financing documents to ensure compliance with A-B Wholesaler Equity AgreementLead transition of current and future A-B brands to A-B’s preferred wholesaler systemLead and Assist-with M&A projects related to Anheuser-Busch’s owned beverage distribution operations (AB One) -- works closely with AB One leadership, legal, tax and other functional teams to negotiate transactions, obtain senior management approvals, ensure transaction closing and support integration effortsPerform business valuations for prospective acquisitions and divestitures by A-BParticipate in the negotiation and structuring of transactions involving privately held businessesTECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:Consistent track record of demonstrating strong project management capabilities, adeptly coordinating multidimensional tasks across departments, and delivering results that exceed expectationsDetail-oriented and analyticalIndustry-standard valuation methodologies for privately-held businessesStrong knowledge of Excel and financial modelingStrong knowledge of the application of finance and accounting conceptPEOPLE SKILLS:Self-starter with a proven ability to leverage networks and past experiences to creatively solve complex problems and navigate new situations with confidence and resourcefulnessProficient in fostering effective communication with external partners and business principalsAbility to conduct diligence meetings with internal and external partiesAbility to communicate finance concepts effectively with non-financial peers/managers and with our independent wholesalersJOB QUALIFICATIONS :Beer wholesale operations and the three-tier systemMerger and acquisition deal structuresTax and accounting aspects of business combinationsCurrent lending environment and practicesBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field required; MBA with finance concentration strongly preferredFive or more years of analytical work experience and at least 3 years Investment Banking, Public Accounting, Commercial Banking, or Corporate Finance/Planning/DevelopmentWHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH :Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
