If this sounds like you, then join us as Director IT Infrastructure Management at Vontier. This role reports to the VP Infrastructure and Operations and is based in Bangalore, India. The role will manage an organization of internal engineers and managed service providers to manage Vontiers network, platform and cloud services. The role will delivery services in line with business needs and market trends to offer an automated secure and stable services for the associates within Vontier and its operating companies. You will ensure services are operated in line with standards and controls, product lifecycle and agreed KPI’s / SLA’s.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Work with the VP, Infrastructure and Operations to set the vision, strategy and roadmap for Infrastructure management to ensure the success of Vontier and IT initiatives.
· Work with the SNR Director Platform and Cloud Services to support the development of technology strategy and roadmaps and ensure successful transition of new capabilities and projects into operations
· Manage a team of internal support engineers to delivery service aligned with company standards, policies and SLA’s
· Manage the transition of operational support from outsourced partner to an internal organization, then develop the internal organization based on the needs of the service
· Collaborate with other IT functions to ensure IT Infrastructure Management requirements are understood and considered during service design and roadmap
· Responsible for the operational excellence of services through strategic managed service providers
· Through change management ensure that services are adopted within the organization through effective engagement and communication
· Provides direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into Infrastructure products and services to successfully deliver overall IT strategy
· Works with HR and IT Leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans to ensure IT Infrastructure Management team can supply skilled resources to meet current and future demand
· Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring cost-effective delivery of services to meet those meets

WHO YOU ARE

· Passionate for providing IT services that are aligned with business needs
· Deep understanding of Network, Platform and Cloud services inc SD-Wan, LAN, WIFI, Windows Server, VMWare, AWS and Azure
· Experienced at managing 24 x 7 operational service including monitoring, incident management, request fulfilment and service management
· Experienced at delivering operational excellence through a blend of internal resource and managed service providers
· Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization, with the ability to communicate and express technical decisions in terms of business value outcomes
· A proven leader with the ability to mentor and establish a high performing diverse team
· Successful record of managing 3rd parties and service providers ensuring alignment to company goals and standards
· Experienced in matrix management and influence management across diverse organizations
· Proven success delivering large, complex projects and programs inc budget and risk management
· Degree in Computer related topic or equivalent work experience
