The Role
We have an outstanding leadership opportunity in the Data Analysis & Visualization Chapter with Fidelity’s Data Architecture & Engineering Chapter Area. The role will be responsible for leading design and developing the Data Analysis and Analytics requirement of Fidelities Unified Customer Profile (UCP) platform. As a Director of Data Analytics, you will engage with leaders and partners across business, analytics, and technical teams. You will lead data analysis, input to strategic data solutioning, develop predictive analytics and program metrics for the UCP Profile Pod while driving the wider enterprise data strategy.
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and 10-15 years of related experience in data analysis, data engineering, or systems analysis or a master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
The Expertise and Skills you bring
You have expertise in leading significant data or BI related projects in the areas of data requirements gathering, analysis, design, interpretation and translating them to data solutions.You have significant experience leading, navigating and influencing across fraud related product and multifunctional functional areas such as account opening, enterprise profile, CPs/security and record keeping to deliver data solutions.You are skilled at data modelling whether dimensional, relational or data vault. You have designed and led the development of dimensional / operational data stores or data warehouses, preferably in multi-site, high availability environments. You are equally at ease with cloud-based NoSQL and relational databases.You are skilled in data analysis and data profiling with fluency in SQL or Python. You are adept at independently generating analytics insights and translating them into stakeholder recommendations or business insights using BI visualizations such as Power BI or Tableau.Ideally you are experienced with on prem enterprise databases to cloud migrations. Familiarity with AWS or Azure and Snowflake an advantageYou have solid prior experience of ML model building, solutioning and pipeline automation to predictive problems.You apply strict data governance, data management and data modeling practices when building data solutions to ensure best in class data quality and protection. MDM experience an advantage.You are skilled decomposing complex work into digestible work elements within an agile environment. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Jira / Jira Align is a plus.You understand and communicate sophisticated concepts effectively to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical. You are skilled at effectively defining use cases and simplifying complex concepts. You make the complicated simple.You have a passion for continuous learning, mentoring, mastering of new skills, and keeping abreast of the latest innovations across data analytics.You are known as a go-getter, with the ability to unravel a mystery whether data, business process or organizational.You have superb facilitation, communication, presentation and influencing skills with an ability to cultivate relationships.The Team
