Job Summary:
The Industry Specialty Services Director - Prevailing Wages leads client projects to assist federal contractors and federal funding recipients with compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour requirements including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) and related Executive Orders. This position may also lead client projects in connection with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements under the Inflation Reduction Act. This may include supporting contractors with training, compliance assessments and implementation of compliance programs, mock audits, navigating DOL investigations and disputes, and ad hoc compliance advice. This position is also responsible for acting as the client contact, training/supervising BDO staff assisting on these engagements, leading speaking engagements and trainings for trade associations and business groups, and promoting thought leadership on the subject matter, including providing innovative and effective solutions to complicated questions in order to meet client needs.

Bachelor’s degree, required, advanced degree, preferredExperience:
Ten (10) or more years or relevant federal contracting experience, required Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), SCA (Service Contract Act), DBRA (Davi- Bacon and Related Acts) Act), FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), CWHSSA (Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act), Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave Executive Orders, required Experience with the Inflation Reduction Act, preferredLicense/Certifications:

National Range: $170,000 - $235,000
Maryland Range: $170,000 - $235,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $170,000 - $235,000
