JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Internal Communications is responsible for developing and strategically managing the implementation of dynamic, comprehensive communications programs in support of Jabil’s strategic goals, brand integrity, corporate goals, and key strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Marketing and Communications, this position leads internal communications for Jabil globally. The position is based in Jabil’s Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, and remote work is not considered for this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface regularly with key leaders and employees to formulate and manage communications strategies, content, and timing to support business objectives, employee engagement, and company image.Develop and manage communications in support of Jabil’s key internal audiences, to increase awareness, understanding, and engagement.Proactively develop and execute integrated communications programs to leverage internal and external messages, including the development of a content calendar for JabilWeb, the company’s intranet.Become the internal SME on Jabil’s email communications platform, managing the internal email schedule to best serve our internal stakeholders.Serve as the first point-of-contact for crisis situations and communications initiatives for Jabil’s headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.Lead global cross-functional communications projects, gain leadership buy-in, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, including the creation and execution of campaigns by internal staff members.Create metrics to measure program effectiveness and obtain data to improve programs for greater impact; evaluate the communications program to measure its performance and ensure it is meeting/exceeding goals/objectives.Lead continuous improvement of the global communications function to include resources, tools, and lessons learned/best practices.Develop and manage the execution of communications integration and transformational initiatives.Develop and oversee corporate-level strategies that support business objectives and strategic imperatives.Lead teams responsible for the implementation of communications strategies for various departmental functions (e.g. HR, Legal, Finance).May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business, or marketing required.
