ROLE SUMMARY
Pfizer is seeking a Director of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) that will lead forecasting for Pfizer's antiviral portfolio (Paxlovid, Ibuzatrelvir). You will be part of the Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) organization harnessing insights from multiple sources to develop, pressure test, socialize, and gain alignment across the commercial business brand forecasts. You will leverage your deep functional analytic knowledge, exceptional intellectual curiosity, and proprietary GCA tools to every business interaction, while being an indispensable thought partner, influencing key forecast driven commercial decisions, and ensuring the highest quality work.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Forecasting / Operating Plan Responsibilities:
In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, act as the lead for the development of Long-Range Forecasts (LRFs) and Operating Plans
Coordinate forecasting activities with US and Global Commercial teams
Act as strategic partner to frame and translate complex patient flows into simplified model approaches used by BAI and commercial market colleagues
Drive the creation of best-in-class epi and trend-based forecast models in partnership with Forecasting Center of Excellence (CoE) colleagues
Identify and analyze relevant analogs to inform forecasting
Leverage insights from all relevant sources to generate and defend forecast assumptions
Actively manage and oversee external vendors supporting forecast model/tool development
Review and enhance forecasts or strategic brand plans with strong expertise in qualifying and quantifying business opportunities, including communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership
Ensure accurate and effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership, including clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business
Collaboration with Other Analytics Teams:
Lead dialogue to integrate insights across various cross-functional teams, including data science, analytics engineering, market research, and media
Actively contribute to the advancement of team capabilities through thought leadership and knowledge sharing
Align with other analytic teams to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders
Partner with other analytic functions to advance the use of novel data sources, including RWD
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field required; Advanced Degree preferred
8+ years in consulting, finance, or market analytics
5+ years at a high-value level (e.g., US & Global) developing data-driven brand strategy for key business assets
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Highly proficient in leveraging primary market research and secondary pharmaceutical data sets (e.g., sales data, claims data, EHR, payer) to generate actionable insights that address strategic business questions
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
Proven track record of being an indispensable thought partner to senior brand leaders and influencing without authority
Team orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence
Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, a creative visionary who can drive innovation
Sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at the highest levels of organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to influence and drive change at all levels in an organization
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,600.00 to $261,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
