We’re Looking For A: Director, HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to the Golden Hippo executive team and their respective teams to develop, execute and optimize our people strategy in support of business goals and objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the HRBP team for Golden Hippo (the company’s Woodland Hills Headquarters location and assigned business groups). Provide consultation and counseling to business leadership, collaborating with business leaders to assess business needs and bring HR solutions for optimal outcomes. Work closely with business leadership on org structure and talent management, including culture and engagement, career and leadership training and development, coaching, performance feedback, terminations and succession planning. Manage HR initiatives, programs and processes, leveraging the expertise as appropriate of Talent Acquisition, People Services and the HRBP teams for other sites and businesses to strengthen overall HR alignment. Seek opportunities to standardize HR policies, procedures and practices across sites and businesses to drive HR operational efficiency and optimize HR service delivery. Ensure policies, procedures and practices align with company culture and comply with applicable laws in partnership with the Legal team. Analyze, make recommendations and execute org reviews and reorganizations, including reductions in force as necessary, to support evolution in business goals and objectives. Serve as a point of contact for all escalated HR-related matters for Golden Hippo, including managing complex employee relations issues and conflict resolution, partnering with Legal and other stakeholders as necessary.Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or closely related field (or equivalent work experience) required SPHR or SHRM-SCP (required) 7-10 years’ experience in an HR leadership role (required) 5 + years’ management experience, including leading teams in multiple locations (required) Experience in scaling a fast growing organization. Experience working in large size organization (revenues greater than $800 million) 5 + years working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines. An inspiring leader and visionary who is passionate about the impact of people, yet business-minded and results oriented. High emotional intelligence with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships, credibility and trust with stakeholders, peers and colleagues across the organization. Sound judgment and the ability to make clear grounded decisions and recommendations. Ability to turn people data into insights and actions that drive continuous improvement for employee programs and performance. Ability to solve a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary problems. Strong analytical, prioritization, project planning/management (from conception to completion) and change management skills. Strong verbal and written communication (including presentation) skills. Ability to work well autonomously and cross-functionally within a team and other departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience in organizational design and restructures. Experience managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Highest level of business and personal integrity and ethical standards. The base salary range is $143,000 min; $190,000, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
