Summary:

Delinea is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Director with 12+ years of experience.  The ideal candidate will have a mastery of excel and has demonstrated a strong ability to research, quantify and communicate actionable insights.  This person will play a critical role partnering with our GTM business to report and analyze operating expenses, develop and report on KPIs and ROI, and report on headcount changes across the organization.   

 

To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and system skills and would ideally have very solid experience in FP&A and Business Partnering across different functions. An ideal candidate will have experience forecasting and analyzing operating costs and fully understanding the drivers of actual vs. budget variances, preferably in the software industry or at a company with a subscription revenue model. The position will report to the Sr. Director, Go-to-Market FP&A and is remote. 

 

What You'll Do:

Partnering with GTM department leaders to develop budgets, forecasts and quarterly board reporting 

Ownership of GTM headcount and expense planning, as well as sales capacity planning, and assessing Marketing ROI to drive key decisions on investment. 

Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in forecasts compared to budgets 

Monthly actuals vs. budget and forecasts variances analysis via Adaptive Insights, use insights to drive meaningful action and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely with business leaders. 

Key partner to the business to develop strategies, build insightful forecasting and reporting and drive impactful insights to key leaders. This includes strategic partnership, financial presentations, Power BI dashboard design and measuring key metrics for operational performance. 

Understanding of compensation modeling and planning to drive the execution of our business goals 

 

What You'll Need:

BA/BS in Business (Accounting/Finance), experience in investment banking, FP&A, and/or management consulting is a plus 

Recent experience as finance business partner in senior role – comfortable presenting to executive level leadership 

Strong data intelligence and business intelligence capabilities 

Ability to think cross-functionally (sales, marketing, accounting, etc) and deliver results. 

Advanced level competency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large data sets and provide clear concise executive level presentations 

Knowledge of practical applications in NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Power BI, and Salesforce
