The Director of Finance, Engineering and Growth & Innovation will provide valuable financial insights, drive data-driven decision making, develop robust business case financial modeling and deliver critical analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, operating plans, strategic plans. This role requires advanced strategic thinking and communication skills as will often collaborate closely with senior leadership.
**Job Summary**
+ Business Partner with the R&D/PM leaders on strategic growth initiatives
+ Lead financial forecasting, variance analysis, planning of R&D/SW functional cost for MCS
+ Coordinate and lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews with business partners
+ Lead financial R&D analysis of software capitalization forecasting, planning, variance analysis working with accounting
+ Finance support on product launches and strategic growth strategies with R&D/SW leaders and Segments
+ Partner with leadership of the G&I teams in critical analysis of business case & financial modeling growth opportunities through Xylem Innovation Labs from ideation and development to commercialization.
+ Establish KPI’s for G&I teams to demonstrate value propositions for AI and Digital Product Solutions, Software Operations and Software tools and Processes
+ Support the Digital business model as necessary (DIS & Idrica combination)
+ Ad hoc analysis as needed by management.
**Job Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years related financial work experience
+ Proven analytical ability, leadership, and business impacting results required
+ Demonstrated financial planning experience required
+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills
+ Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and to foster team development with different cultures
+ Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate to non-finance team members is essential
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and databases, experience with OneStream and Business Objects preferred
+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt preferred
+ ERP experiences preferred

He/she delivers clear, concise, accurate, articulate and persuasive written and oral messages, supplying supporting facts as necessary and is adept at tailoring communication to various audiences.
+ **Process Improvement:** Successful candidate will possess ability and eagerness to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Compensation and Global Mobility programs. This individual will help identify, prioritize and align key stakeholders for implementing process improvements.

Salary range:
$121,800.00 - $219,200.00
