Product Management is part of the Integrated Services organization and works cross functionally and closely with our partners in Design and Engineering in Model e. Integrated Services launched during the summer 2023, to create and market new customer experiences by integrating hardware, software and services across Ford Blue, Model e and Ford Pro. These products and services will allow Ford’s retail and commercial customers to customize their vehicle like never before, with OTA (over the air)-driven experiences that grow better over time. Most importantly we raise the talent bar with every hire. **In this position…** You will own, develop, and execute the end-to-end vision, product strategy, and roadmap to advance Ford’s consent, privacy, and identity product capabilities, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.   **What you'll do…** **Spearhead market research and analysis:** Conduct ongoing research to understand evolving customer expectations, legal and regulatory landscapes, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in privacy and identity. Identify unmet needs and opportunities for innovation.  **Evangelize Ford's privacy and identity strategy:** Champion a privacy-first approach across platforms and services. Ensure that product development incorporates best-in-class privacy practices while delivering a positive customer experience. **Privacy Infrastructure Reliability:** Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure for privacy-related data processing and applications, leveraging SRE principles including robust monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation. **Collaborate across functions:** Work closely with design, engineering, legal, compliance, and marketing teams to gather feedback, align product priorities, and ensure successful product launches and adoption. Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility for privacy.  **Data-driven decision making:** Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions and optimizations. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure Ford's privacy and identity solutions remain competitive and compliant.  **Define and measure success:** Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success, effectiveness, and quality of privacy and identity products. Track metrics related to customer satisfaction, compliance, and the robustness of privacy and data protections.  **Strategic partnerships:** Forge strategic partnerships with leading technology providers and experts in privacy to drive advancements in Ford's offerings. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and privacy best practices.  **Team leadership and development:** Build, mentor, and guide a high-performing team of product managers responsible for evaluating, scoping, implementing, and maintaining a portfolio of consent, privacy, and identity products and services.  **Develop and communicate product vision:** Lead and effectively leverage diverse perspectives to develop a compelling product vision and roadmap that is aligned across the entire organization.  **Cross-functional collaboration:** Partner with Design and Tech strategy teams to inform vehicle and technology platforms with upcoming product and services strategies related to consent, privacy, and identity.  **Stakeholder management:** Manage concerns and report status to Ford executives and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive risk management.  **Strategic balance:** Balance tactical short-term needs with long-term strategic direction and priorities, considering the evolving regulatory landscape and customer expectations.  **You'll have…** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or tech-related field.   + 8-10+ years as a product manager or in a product role, having shipped successful products in the past with proven experience in translating key customer experiences into product requirements. Focusing on products related to data privacy and identity management is a plus.  + 8-10+ years people-management experience of product managers, and deep knowledge of how to mentor and level up teams of product managers.  + Passion for developing user-centric privacy solutions and fostering trust with customers. Deep understanding of the importance of data security and ethical data handling.  + Passion for serving customers, using data (while maintaining privacy) to enable smart decision-making, and driving product improvements powered by customer feedback.  + Experience bringing to life user-friendly interfaces for consent management, data privacy tools, and identity verification processes.  + Superior communication and persuasion skills; ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling story, derived from data to deliver recommendations for business action.  + Proven relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to influence and drive outcomes in large, matrixed, and complex organizations; ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders, including small to large teams of technical experts, legal professionals, and compliance officers.  + Entrepreneurial spirit, hustle, persistence, and resilience; methodical thinker with the ability to thrive on and drive change while navigating ambiguity.  + Track record of solving tough problems and delivering working solutions throughout your career, especially within a regulatory-heavy landscape.  **Even better, you may have…** + Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, law, business, or a related field.  + Expert knowledge of data privacy regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in data privacy and security.  + Experience working with privacy-enhancing technologies and implementing privacy-preserving data processing techniques.  + Software engineering/delivery expertise, especially in secure authentication systems, data encryption, and privacy-focused software development methodologies.  + Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles for privacy-related tools and applications.
