The person in this role is will work to help drive our predictive analytics business by building out the Big Data / machine learning / AI capabilities of the Predictive Intelligence capabilities. This person will contribute significantly towards client deliverables, help develop new analytical approaches and offerings, and mentor more junior team members.Responsibilities:Assist in the leadership of day-to-day project execution, including client deliverables, status updates, and project managementEfficiently manage data from disparate sources, distilling into datasets prepared for data scienceExecute statistical models to support client projectsPrepare client facing material (example: PowerPoint slides and charts), distilling analytical insights effectively into stories for clientsDevelop standardized code and processes that can be easily used by the larger teamSupport senior staff in the development of client proposalsMentor junior analytics team members Qualified candidates have most, if not all, of the following… Academic background in data science, statistics including big data, machine learning, and AIProficiency in languages like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis, preferably Pandas and SparkProficiency to clean, transform, and manage data using SQL and other database technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, etc) Proficiency in tools like Tableau or PowerBI (even excel pivot and slicer dashboards) to create clear and informative visualizationsExperience with the follow Python packages is helpful: XGBoost, statsmodels, numpy, pyspark, sklearn, matplotlib, seaborn, scipy, tensorflow, pytorchProficiency to effectively communicate complex analysis to technical and non-technical audiences.  Proficiency with external client relationship management and data story telling Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlinesKnowledge of marketing, market research, and economicsStrong understanding of statistical concepts and methods for data analysisThe team is here for you: Our team currently includes… Fun first attitudes – because what’s the point of doing great work if aren’t having fun?  Career pathing on the mind – whether you plan to stay for 2 years or 20 years we put your development and career goals as a priority  Open space floor plan community – the best research happens with collaboration and sometimes that includes input from our non-research co-workers  Broader communications exposure – you will get the opportunity to work alongside broader Edelman teams such as Corporate, Brand, Digital, Assembly, and more  Open minds for new ideas and methodologies – maybe it’s not broken, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it better Level agnostic – doesn’t matter if you are the boss or an intern, we are all in this together  Global Reach – we have researchers you can tap into around the world  $96,000 - $153,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
