Your role

Define and deliver a (set of) strategic project(s) to ensure Merck devices successful on the market. This activity includes product definition, project planning and project team management. He/she is accountable for time to market, product fit and quality of the project.

 

Lead the project core team, including members representing all functions (marketing, Engineering, Project managers, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Industrialization, V&V, P&L,) in charge of the platform development.
 Coach each member of the project core team, including alignment of their functional objectives to the project objective, regular feedback on actual performance (to the member and his/her manager) and enforcement of the function accountabilities.Be the representative of the project and Merck to Partners / suppliers senior leadership and Merck Sr leadership, mainly Business units  heads, R&D heads and Operations heads. In this capacity, prepares business cases and get funding, ensures project consistency with company strategy, has full accountability for delivering the project on time, budget, quality and market success.
