Job Description

NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. We develop, produce and market entertainment, news and information to a global market. Universal Pictures International is the international film division of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, operating across 80+ territories.

The UPI Finance team plays a key role in supporting the UPI Senior Management team. It oversees a complex, multinational network of owned operating companies, licensees and JV’s. The team will partner closely with other Head Office functions, all UPI operating companies (OpCos) and Regional teams, and corporate groups based in London and Amsterdam.

Drive controllership initiatives throughout UPI with thorough balance sheet reviews, key metric analysis and regular controllership communicationsMaintain a strong working relationship with UPI OpCo Finance Directors and Controllers, ensuring controllership objectives are clearly defined, communicated and prioritizedLead timely and accurate monthly/quarterly close and consolidation process in line with GAAP, including account reconciliationsEnsure accurate and complete reporting of the UIP joint venture, including review of quarterly investment and annual pension valuationCollaborate with FP&A in identifying risks and opportunities impacting the P&L and Cash Flow from balance sheets and working capital focusPartner with the HQ Controllership Group, Tax, Legal, and IT teams to ensure all requirements are met and risks addressed on a timely, accurate and efficient basisKey contributor in the S4 Hana implementation providing feedback on behalf of UPI and supporting the implementation across all OpCosEnsure alignment to Comcast and NBCU global policies and prioritiesOwner of Deloitte and Comcast internal audit relationshipsDrive simplification, standardization and process improvement

Qualifications8+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or related fieldBachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field such as economics

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $125,000.00 - $170,000.00 (Bonus eligible)
