About the Role:

The Director, Process Business Unit is a key member of the Product Management leadership team and is responsible for driving the development and execution of the global product management strategy and plan for their Business Unit, including building the team of leaders and product management professionals to deliver results.

We will rely on you to develop the strategy for portfolio growth by having a deep understanding of customer needs and global market trends, prioritizing strategic initiatives, and focusing on building strategic relationships with our regional commercial teams.  This position will develop a network based on credibility, quality solutions, and driving initiatives that make an impactful difference in our overall growth.

This person will be onsite in Loveland CO or Dusseldorf Germany and must be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth: Lead the development and execution of global strategies for portfolio and core growth by understanding customer needs and market trends. Deliver on revenue, margin, quality, and share gain targets while coaching and mentoring a high-performing, customer-focused team.Innovation & Portfolio Management: Shape the New Product Development (NPD) roadmap and influence product definitions through market insights. Drive innovation, portfolio rationalization, and lifecycle initiatives to ensure a competitive, margin-accretive, and digitally connected portfolio.Open Innovation & Acquisitions: Identify strategic partners and acquisition targets aligned with Hach’s long-term growth strategy. Drive partnership development, contract negotiation, commercialization, and integration to achieve mutual profitable growth.Commercial & Process Excellence: Collaborate with commercial teams to execute successful product launches and drive growth of existing products. Champion our toolset based in lean manufacturing - VES (Veralto Enterprise System) principles to embed operational rigor and ensure systematic, sustainable growth.Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across Hach and Veralto functions, aligning diverse teams around common goals through effective communication, coordination, and shared accountability.

Requirements:

Insights:  Proven ability to perform detailed analysis, connect insights, articulate a vision, develop a strategic plan, and execute at a tactical level.Collaboration: Demonstrated strength in building relationships, managing deliverables and expectations, and leveraging expertise of business units and functions across Hach and Veralto.Ownership:  History of approaching work with a strong sense of accountability, commitment, and urgencyGrowth Mindset:  creatively develop paths forward to growth where others get stuck, commit to continuous improvement at personal and organizational levels.Continuous Improvement:  confidence and self-motivation to proactively identify root cause of issues, propose solutions and fill leadership gaps.Influence:  Strengths in quickly establishing credibility, trust, and support with all levels of the organization including peers, direct reports, and senior management.Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required. Must be fluent in English.

US ONLY: 

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
