The **Director of Business Analysis** is a hands-on leader responsible for establishing and overseeing the business systems analysis process within Simplii Core Banking. This role supports technology initiatives and ensures alignment with business goals through active engagement in the entire software delivery lifecycle. The Director will provide strategic leadership in business consulting and information architecture as well as fostering strong internal relationships across the organization. This position involves conducting in-depth analyses of complex business information and making comprehensive recommendations to management, including executives and business leaders. The Director will drive innovation and process improvement, utilizing expert interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
+ Establish Business Systems Analysis Process: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business systems analysis framework and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Hands-On Leadership: Actively engage with the team and stakeholders to guide the business analysis process, providing mentorship and support to ensure high performance and collaboration.
+ Build and Lead a Team: Build, develop and cultivate a new team of business systems analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
+ Project Oversight: Oversee team mandates, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards through active participation in project activities.
**How You’ll Succeed**
+ Leadership: Manage and measure the performance of a team of business systems analysts and consultants, ensuring accountability for delivering business and system requirements.
+ Client Advocacy: Collaborate closely with business teams to advocate for client needs and monitor satisfaction levels, ensuring that solutions align with expectations.
+ Strategic Alignment: Ensure that requirements for systems and solutions are strategically aligned with the organization’s business goals and objectives.
+ Accountability: Standardize artifacts and deliverables throughout the solution development lifecycle process, ensuring compliance with CIBC requirements, work practices, processes, security standards, and policies.
+ Relationship Building: Develop and sustain strong relationships across the organization, leveraging negotiation and influence to drive successful outcomes.
+ Delivery Excellence: Take ownership of the successful delivery of business and system requirements for all product initiatives involving the Simplii team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
**Who You Are**
+ You have demonstrated experience in leading a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience using JIRA and Confluence, and at least 5 years of experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Core banking and payments experience is a strong asset.
+ You have good leadership skills and have experience building a team from ground up.
+ You are digitally savvy, actively seeking innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies, with the ability to adapt to new tools and trends.
+ Your influence makes an impact; you understand that relationships and networks are essential to success and inspire outcomes through effective communication.
