Director, Business Process Integrity

Job Summary:

Mercury Systems is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Process Integrity to lead efforts to optimize, govern, and ensure compliance with enterprise-wide business processes and make an impact. As a key member of the Mission Assurance team, this role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory and quality standard adherence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business functions. Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business process integrity strategy that aligns with company goals and industry best practices Lead cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and improve key business processes Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies Monitor process performance metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for optimization Serve as a champion for a culture of quality and process integrity by fostering a mindset of continuous improvement and compliance across all levels of the organization Facilitating Kaizen events Promote a “right-first-time” philosophy, encouraging proactive problem-solving and accountability for quality outcomes Partner with leaders across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other functional areas to embed quality principles into daily operations and decision-making Ensure cross-functional alignment on key quality initiatives, metrics, and process improvement efforts Act as a liaison between the Quality organization and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration on process integrity efforts Drive the development and adoption of standardized business processes to reduce variability and improve efficiency and compliance Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on strategic quality initiatives and business process optimization efforts Hold teams accountable for meeting quality objectives and adhering to standardized processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of experience in business process management, quality or manufacturing operations, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry Proven leadership in driving process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies (Black Belt certification preferred) Ability to travel, initially up to 50% between Mercury US sites.  Travel will taper down but will continue.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems, data analytics and process automation tools Strong knowledge of electronics in aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR) Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and process improvement Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Capable of balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational tasks
