Armanino is looking for a highly driven, outgoing and competitive Director, Business Development to join our team in Austin, TX. This visible role will work closely with Armanino’s Texas leadership team including the Partner-In Charge, Regional Leadership, the Armanino Growth Office, and various leads within Consulting, Trust and Tax practices to develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market lead generation and overall growth strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Grow all existing lines of Armanino business (Consulting, Trust, Tax, Business Management) in the Texas Market
Build working relationships across various Armanino strategic industries including technology and emerging growth, real estate, middle market, high net worth individuals, healthcare, private equity firms and nonprofits
Leverage and strengthen current circle of influence to develop new opportunities for potential relationships with Armanino
Build deep working relationships with Armanino SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to leverage expertise and develop strong go to market strategy; collaborate with Armanino’s leadership team in Texas maintain positive, productive relationships
Conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation with the goal of building relationships, setting meetings that lead to potential Sales Qualified Leads for Armanino
Develop deep understanding of Armanino service offerings and case studies for above mentioned industries
Identify and attend Texas associations, industry groups, referral sources, networking groups, etc. that will generate Sales Qualified Leads to Armanino
Demonstrate resourcefulness in connecting with new customers and showing diligence with follow up communications
Add significant influence in the close of new Armanino business
Requirements
Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience
Experience in business development and potential client outreach
Experience successfully generating leads through various sourcing strategies to reach the decision makers
Preferred Qualifications
Public Accounting experience
Strong network in the Austin, TX or Dallas, TX
